On The Run Chiropractic
Mobile Chiropractic Services — Sunshine Coast, QLD
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 11 Aug 2026.
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.otrchiropractic.com.au (the “Website”) and your booking or receipt of mobile chiropractic services from On The Run Chiropractic – ABN: 12791649194 (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an appointment, using the Website, or receiving treatment from us, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, available at [link], which explains how we handle your personal and health information.
2. Our services
We provide mobile chiropractic consultations and treatment at a location nominated by you (e.g. your home or workplace) within our standard service area of the Sunshine Coast, QLD. We may, at our discretion, travel outside this area, and reserve the right to charge an additional travel fee for locations beyond our standard radius.
We aim to accommodate all bookings but may decline or reschedule a booking if the location is unsafe, inaccessible, or outside a reasonable service radius, or if we consider a client’s presenting condition unsuitable for a mobile/in-home setting and better suited to a clinical facility.
3. Bookings, cancellations and fees
3.1 Making a booking
Bookings can be made through our Website (via Cliniko) or by phone. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or SMS.
3.2 Cancellations and rescheduling
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time, and missed appointments (“no-shows”), will result in forfeiture of the $50 booking deposit.
We understand that circumstances can be unpredictable, particularly with health conditions — the deposit forfeiture may be waived at our discretion in genuine emergencies.
3.3 Late arrival
Because appointments are scheduled back-to-back across mobile locations, if you are running late we will do our best to accommodate you, but your session may be shortened, or the full session fee may still apply, to avoid delaying other clients.
4. Fees and payment
- Current fees for each service are available on our Website or on request.
- Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- Medicare, DVA, and private health fund rebates may be available depending on your circumstances and eligibility – it is your responsibility to confirm your own eligibility and claim any applicable rebate.
- We reserve the right to change our fees from time to time; the fee applicable to your appointment is the fee current at the time of booking.
5. Treatment, consent and clinical care
Chiropractic treatment involves manual therapy techniques that carry inherent risks, which will be explained to you prior to treatment. By proceeding with treatment, you provide informed consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time before or during treatment.
- You must provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current symptoms, and any conditions or medications relevant to your care.
- Our practitioners are registered with the Chiropractic Board of Australia (Ahpra) and comply with the Code of Conduct governing our profession.
- Nothing on our Website constitutes personalised medical advice – general content is for informational purposes only and does not replace an individual clinical assessment.
- In an emergency, please call 000 rather than contacting us.
6. Client responsibilities (mobile/in-home appointments)
As treatment takes place at a location you nominate, you agree to:
- Provide a safe, clean, and reasonably private space for treatment, with adequate access and lighting
- Ensure pets are secured and any hazards are addressed prior to the appointment
- Treat our practitioners with courtesy and respect – we reserve the right to end an appointment early, without refund, if a practitioner reasonably believes their safety is at risk
7. Cancellations by us
We may cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, unsafe conditions, vehicle issues, or circumstances beyond our control. Where this occurs, we will give as much notice as possible and offer the next available appointment or a full refund of any amount already paid for that session.
8. Refunds
Fees paid for services already provided are generally non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your right to a remedy where a service is not provided with due care and skill.
9. Website use and intellectual property
- All content on the Website (text, images, logos) is owned by or licensed to On the Run Chiropractic and may not be reproduced without permission.
- You must not use the Website in a way that is unlawful, disrupts its operation, or infringes the rights of others.
- We take reasonable steps to keep Website content accurate but do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, On the Run Chiropractic is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
We maintain professional indemnity and public liability insurance in line with our registration requirements as a chiropractic practice.
11. Privacy
Our collection and handling of your personal and health information is set out in our Privacy Policy, available at [link to Privacy Policy], which forms part of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking or use of the Website will apply. The current version is always available on our Website, with the “last updated” date shown above.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
